Aranui, the freighter cruise ship, has added Bora Bora to all 17 of its departures in 2015.
For the first time, every 14-day Aranui roundtrip cruise from Tahiti will call at Bora Bora as well as French Polynesia’s Marquesas Islands and the Tuamotu atolls.
The announcement follows the cruise line’s first scheduled call to Bora Bora earlier this month, with this year’s programme also set to include another visit to the island in December.
“The new programme will take guests to three very different yet equally stunning French Polynesian archipelagos – the Marquesas, Tuamotus and Society Islands – and show off some of the most naturally beautiful and untouched islands in the world,” said Aranui’s regional representative for Australia & New Zealand, Laurent Wong.
Also in late 2015, a new 256-passenger ship, Aranui 5, will replace Aranui 3, which is retiring after 12 years cruising the South Pacific.
