Asia Super Team: The Almighty Players has announced the return of its annual business contest, for the third year running.
Aimed at promoting Taiwan as a top MICE destination in the region in Asia, Asia Super Team 2016 edition – themed “The Almighty Players” – will also feature a new interactive gaming design, through online and offline contests.
After two runs since the inaugural campaign in 2014, the 2016 edition competition will be further opened up to teams in Hong Kong and Macau for the first time, adding to participating countries like Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.
The 2014 edition saw Singaporean food manufacturing company, Seng Hua Hng Foodstuff Pte Ltd emerging as the overall winner of Asia Super Team after beating out four other finalist teams. And in 2015, Australian start-up company, AFTR clinched the winning title after defeating five other teams.
Mr. Sukardi, procurement manager at Seng Hua Hng Foodstuff said: “Being the first ever winner of Asia Super Team 2014 was certainly a highlight, but beyond that, it was also a great team bonding experience for us. The competition was a great opportunity for us to forge meaningful friendships with fellow contestants across the region as we showcased Singapore’s unique culture on an international scale.
“We really enjoyed the whole experience TAITRA organised for us to better understand the Taiwanese culture and MICE offerings, and strongly encourage Singaporean companies to take part in Asia Super Team 2016 so they can benefit similarly.”
Registration for Asia Super Team: The Almighty Players opens today at asiasuperteam.meettaiwan.com, and will run through August 28, 2016. The winning Super Team will walk away with MICE tourism packages to Taiwan and corporate prizes worth S$60,000.
