South Korea’s Asiana Airlines has ordered two additional Boeing 777-200ER (Extended Range) jetliners. They will join the airline’s current 777-200ER fleet of nine airplanes. Asiana operates 40 Boeing jetliners in total, and has two 777-200ERs from previous orders that have yet to be delivered.
Asiana’s first 777-200ER order was placed in 1996 and the airline received its first airplane on lease in February.
