Aston brings three new hotels to Borneo

Aston International will simultaneously open three new hotels in Kalimantan, in Indonesian Borneo, this summer.
The first hotel, due to open in July, is the four-star Aston Balikpapan Hotel & Residence (pictured). The 155-room oceanfront hotel is designed to serve the long-stay needs of business travellers and the oil and gas industries. Room options range from one-bedroom studios to four-bedroom penthouse apartments, while facilities include meeting rooms, spa, seaside promenade, BBQ area, and infinity edge swimming pool.
Shortly after Aston will add two hotels to its contemporary three-star Aston City Hotel brand. The Aston Samarinda City Hotel (pictured) will a 99-room property featuring the city’s largest ballroom and only indoor swimming pool and the Aston City Hotel will be the 81-room Aston Tanjung City Hotel, including a 500m? ballroom, break out function rooms and gym.
