Aston to launch new premium budget hotel brand

Jakarta-based hotel management company, Aston International, is planning to launch a new chain of branded premium budget hotels throughout the Indonesian archipelago.
Operating under the name ‘favehotels’, Aston International is understood to be finalising new, purpose-built properties Bali’s Denpasar (pictured), Seminyak and Legian and is in the planning process for several favehotels in Jakarta, Surabaya and Medan.
The privately-held hospitality firm has assembled a team of experts that includes former senior hotel managers from IHG, Mandarin Oriental and Accor to spearhead the project that will see hotel developments in almost every primary and secondary city within Indonesia.
Norbert Vas, Aston International’s VP of Sales & Marketing, said; “We believe the budget hotel business to develop into a billion dollar industry and have with favehotels created the very best select service product in the market. Favehotels are inexpensive to develop, offer owners a lucrative income stream and fast returns of investments.”
