Avalon Waterways have confirmed the delivery of a further two new ‘suite ‘ships in 2013, the Avalon Artistry II and Avalon Expression. The new ships are in addition to its latest suite ships Avalon Vista and Visionary introduced in 2012, bringing the total of suite ships to five.
The UK Avalon office was opened only 30 months ago; during that time the interest in river cruising has soared in the UK and particularly for higher category staterooms with many clients selecting the best suites available. The two new ships will have the state-of-the-art sleek design with spacious staterooms, and will provide the same high standard of service to her sister ships. Both ships will feature tow full decks of Panorama suites with wall-to-wall panoramic windows that open to create ‘open’ air balconies. The Panorama suites are sized at 200 square feet, whilst the Royal suite is 300 square feet, 30% larger than the industry standard. Both ships will have cont
emporary décor with hand crafted finishes, innovative technologies and well-appointed staterooms.
