Trade operator Avro has further expanded its Greek programme for next summer. The flight-only operator has added flights from Bristol to Corfu, Zante and Crete and there are also new flights from Newcastle to Corfu and Zante. In addition the company has launched flights from Birmingham to Chania in Crete (first in the UK market), Kefalonia, Rhodes and Preveza for the May to October 2012 season. Meanwhile services from Gatwick and Manchester to Volos will be reintroduced for 2012, as well as the Skiathos route. “We are pleased to be able to expand our Greek programme in response to demand from our key retail partners wanting to book with a reliable operator offering full ATOL bonding as well as the most competitive prices in the market place,” said Michael Vinales, managing director of Avro. “We will continue to monitor sales to all destinations and respond with additional capacity should there be demand”.
