Azamara cruises into Asia

Designed to offer exotic destination-driven travel experiences, bookings have opened for Asia itineraries on the new Azamara Quest vessel.
Azamara Quest’s Asia season commences on 22 Nov 08 with a 24-night voyage from Athens, Greece to Singapore.
Itinerary highlights include Alexandria, Egypt; Dubai, UAE; Bombay and Cochin, India; Penang and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
On 16 Dec 08, the vessel will set sail on an 18-night Southeast Asia voyage from Singapore to Hong Kong.
2009 sailings begin 03 Jan with a 14-night cruise between Hong Kong and Singapore followed by a Northeast Asia cruise between Hong Kong and Beijing on 31 Jan.
The final Asia voyage will depart on 07 Apr 09 from Singapore back to Athens.
Richard Fain, chairman and ceo of parent company Royal Caribbean Cruises said “we created Azamara Cruises to target an area of the market that we believe is underserved, and an area this product is ideally suited to fill.”
The cruise line has also announced 2008-09 itineraries in Europe and South America on its 710-passenger sister ship, Azamara Journey.
The addition of these new itineraries will see Azamara Cruises visiting 175 ports in over 60 countries around the world.
