Azamara Journey debuts in Kobe
The Azamara Journey cruise ship, which recently underwent a refurbishment, arrived in the Japanese port city of Kobe for the first time today.
The overnight stop in Kobe is part of the vessel’s 14-night Hong Kong to Beijing itinerary, which also features visits to Shanghai, Xiamen, Kagoshima, Seoul and Tianjin.
“We are pleased to feature Kobe as Japan’s newest port for Azamara Journey’s North Asian cruises from Hong Kong. What’s more, with the overnight stay in Kobe, our cruisers will have more time to explore its unique attractions both day and night. From Kobe, our guests can tour the beautiful cities of Kyoto, Nara, Osaka,” said Isao Iio, Azamara Club Cruises’ representative in Japan.
The overnight also offered a shore excursion to the nearby Mount Rokko.
The 11-deck, 694-guest Azamara Journey will stay in Asia until April, offering a range of eight- to 17-night itineraries around from Hong Kong, Tianjin and Singapore.
