Bahrain Air has signed a US$459 million deal with Airbus to purchase six new A320 aircraft, the Gulf News has reported. The deal will more than double the airline’s fleet to 11 planes.
“This signing of the Letter of Intent marks yet another milestone for Bahrain Air. By increasing our fleet, we will continue to enhance our role to and promote Bahrain as a hub in the region,” said Ibrahim Al Hamer, Bahrain Air’s Managing Director.
New services to Kuwait and Dhaka are planned for launch in October.
