Bainounah Ebel Festival to kick off in Al Gharbia

The Bainounah Ebel Festival will soon take place at the Madinat Zayed, Abu Dhabi Western Region (Al Gharbia) from 16-21 November 2013. Thousands of spectators will gather to witness hundreds of camels raised by UAE nationals compete in camel races and a beauty contest.
Ayman Ashor, general manager, Tilal Liwa Hotel, said: “The Bainounah Ebel Festival is a local competition held to promote community participation and preserve our cultural heritage. We invite families with children to learn about the local way of life. The festival will also help preserve local heritage”
Tilal Liwa Hotel will host this year’s Festival. The festival is being held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, ruler’s representative in the Western Region. With an increasing number of tourists in the UAE seeking for heritage tourism, the Bainounah Ebel Festival is a way to educate tourist.
