Bali targets 2.3 million tourists

Bali’s provincial tourism office has set a target of 2.3 million international arrivals in 2010. This represents an increase from the 2.2 million achieved in 2009, BaliDiscovery.com has reported. The head of the Bali Tourism Office, Ida Bagus Subhisku, was reported saying that early figures are encouraging, with around 6,220 foreign tourists arriving every day in January 2010, compared to 4,000 in 2009.
