Bangkok-based Bawarchi expands in India

Bangkok-based chain of Indian restaurants, Bawarchi is expanding its portfolio in India.
With presence already established in Gurgaon, the restaurant group is looking at expanding through franchise route in the country. The group is offering franchise opportunities for its kiosk, fine-dine and casual dine business model.
“We have created a strong and proven business method that will save our franchisees from going through the rough patch one has to face while starting afresh. We claim that our model will offer the best of potentials for greater profit earnings, rapid growth and long term stability at lower risk rate. Our major aim is to expand our pan -India footprints with a bang,” said JD, chairman of Bawarchi International Group of Restaurants.
The group also plans to go for an IPO in the coming years, with an aim to establish successful and rightful partnerships in the restaurant segment. “After its grand success in Bangkok with five successful restaurants and some destinations in India, the management is all set to expand its operations across India, and Southeast Asian countries like Cambodia, Philippines, Vietnam and Myanmar,” stated Mohan Gunti, regional director of Incapital Ventures, a holding company of Bawarchi International Group.
