Bangladeshi carrier NovoAir has taken delivery of its first two Embraer ERJ-145 jet aircraft.
NovoAir will base the new 50-seat ERJ-145s in Chittagong, and will operate key domestic routes, including to the Bangladeshi capital, Dhaka.
“With the introduction of our ERJ 145s, we are pleased to offer an all-jet domestic service which will appeal to the business traveller in Bangladesh. In the future, we aim to connect our key cities with other top destinations in the region,” said NovoAir’s Managing Director, Mofizur Rahman.
The delivery marks Brazil-based Embraer’s debut in Bangladesh.
