Baros Maldives has recently upgraded its guestrooms and services. The resort has added above-water swimming pools to five of its Water Villas and has expanded its fitness centre to provide more space and new gym equipment.
Five of the resort’s Water Villas have been converted to premium accommodation, each with a private swimming pool (6.6m x 3.6m) set into an expanded timber veranda deck above the lagoon, accompanied by loungers for sunbathing and are located at the end of a boardwalk jetty. The newly converted villas will be available for booking from September 2012.
The new fitness centre now measures 154 sq m with a panoramic view of the garden, as well as the latest exercise equipment including new treadmills, an elliptical fitness cross trainer and a recumbent bike. The new equipment includes TVs and Internet access. The air-conditioned fitness centre is open from 5am to 11pm every day.
The family owned Maldivian resort has 75 Water and Beach Villas as well as three restaurants, a cocktail lounge with panoramic views, a palm garden bar and a spa facility.
