Ideagen recently announced a working partnership with Bahrain Airport Services (BAS) to improve regulatory and operational document management at Bahrain International Airport.
Ideagen’s Q-Pulse safety and quality management software is being deployed to control increasing complexities of managing differing regulatory and operator document approvals, particularly those related to EASA Part 145, Part M and Part 66.
Andrew Gardner, manager quality assurance – maintenance at BAS, said: “BAS follow processes to EASA Part 145, Part M and Part 66, as well as adhere to regulations from eight different countries, all based upon EASA. We are also applying for Saudi approval which is based on FAA, and this will be incorporated into Q-Pulse in due course.”
Andrew further added: “Without controlled documentation, you cannot operate effectively, so an efficient means of managing documents is essential. Auditing is becoming increasingly complex and ability to adequately control this as well as to tightly manage findings is imperative. The Audit and CA/PA capability in Q-Pulse gives us the tools to audit to different standards, and this suits our business and operational requirements exactly.”
Adoption of Q-Pulse has led to a 30% increase in productivity.
