Award-winning Australian film director, screenwriter and producer, Baz Luhrmann, recently experienced the luxury of a Transatlantic crossing aboard Cunard’s Queen Mary 2, with his wife and creative partner, Academy Award winner Catherine Martin, and their two children.
During the voyage, the liner’s guests were treated to a screening of Luhrmann’s dazzling “Moulin Rouge” followed by a Cunard Insights Q&A session with the famed director.
“It was an absolute joy to travel with Cunard and experience all of the elegance and grandeur that Queen Mary 2 has to offer,” Luhrmann said.
“It was a superb way to travel from New York to England and we thoroughly enjoyed the adventure.”
Luhrmann joins Cunard’s long guest list of world famous entertainers, including Elizabeth Taylor, Rod Stewart, Carly Simon, Shirley Bassey, Uma Thurman, Angela Bassett, James Taylor and Lenny Kravitz.
