Beijing airport launches self-service inspection system
Beijing Capital International Airport has launched a self-service entry-exit inspection system, “Through Check-In TCI”, to speed up passenger clearance, the Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation has reported.
Twenty self-service E-channels were installed at the entry inspection points of the airport’sT3E terminal. All passengers who have the “Travel Permit for Residents of Hong Kong and Macau to Mainland China” can use the system. Based on biometric identification technologies, this next-generation system can be manually operated by passengers.
