Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway plans IPO

The Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway Co is planning to raise CNY30-50 billion (US$4.4-7.3 billion) through an initial public offering (IPO) later this year. According to a Xinhua report, China’s Ministry of Railways, which owns the company, has submitted the proposal to the Ministry of Finance.
