Beijing unveils Great Wall Express

China has unveiled the Great Wall Express, a sleek new train that takes visitors to the foot of the World Heritage Site. Reuters said the train covers 6,400km and receives some 10 million visitors a year, mostly to the 10km stretch of the Wall opened to tourists. The train will cut in half to one hour the time it usually takes to get to the part of wall in Badaling.
The service was finished in time for the Olympics, the report said. Regular services begin later this week, the report said.
