A Lufthansa flight was forced to land in Kolkata last week when a passenger fell grievously sick onboard the plane.
Flight LH-778 from Frankfurt to Singapore made an emergency landing on Saturday when 75-year-old Robert Vanda Neynt, who was flying along with his wife Mary, fell ill when the plane was flying near the city airport.
Air Traffic Control granted landing permission, however it was too late by the time doctors arrived to treat the Belgian national who was already dead when he arrived.
