Best Western International has opened its first resort on the Thai island of Koh Phangan. The 96-room Best Western Phanganburi Resort is located on Haad Rin Nai beach, called also Sunset Beach, a short walk from restaurants and nightclubs of Haad Rin Nok beach and Haad Rin Town.
“Best Western Phanganburi Resort’s location offers the best of both worlds. The resort itself is a peaceful sanctuary of sun, sand and sea with comfortable accommodation and great facilities. At the same time, the bustling atmosphere of Haad Rin Nok beach and Haad Rin town are easily reached with a short stroll overland.” said Best Western International’s Vice President of International Operations Asia and the Middle East, Glenn de Souza.
The opening marks the first international hotel brand on the island, which has long been a stop on the backpacker circuit, and is famous for its full moon parties. The new resort is Best Western’s 11th property in Thailand adding to the group’s existing portfolio in Bangkok, Samui, Krabi, Pattaya and Phuket.
The resort’s guest rooms and cottages are air-conditioned with their own terrace or balcony and feature LCD TVs, refrigerators and complimentary Wi-Fi. Resort facilities include two swimming pools, a restaurant, fitness room, pool table, massage & spa service and function room for up to 120 people Guests can also rent mountain bikes.
