Best Western signs a Premier hotel in Mohali

Bangaluru, Karnataka, March 25, 2010 /India PRwire/ — Best Western India and Ishan Developers & Infrastructure Ltd,a subsidiary of Ishan Group of Companies today announced the setting up of a Premier Hotel in Mohali. An agreement towards this was signed between Best Western India and Ishan Developers & Infrastructure Ltd. With this, Best Western Premier Mohali became the 3rd premier hotel under the Best Western Management and the second Best Western Hotel in this region after Baddi in Himachal Pradesh and Amritsar in Punjab.
Speaking on this occasion, Sudhir Sinha, President and COO of Best Western India said “it gives me great pleasure to inform you that we have signed a new Best Western Premier, five star deluxe hotel in Chandigarh (Mohali) under The “Best Western Premier” brand” which going to be a very well positioned upscale hotel in this region.
Coming up on National Highway (NH)21, this will be the Group’s first premier hotel in the North under the new master licensee contract. This new Best Western Premier hotel will provide its guests with an entire range of services in line to match a contemporary 5 star deluxe hotel. The hotel which is located near the upcoming state-of-the-art Mohali Interstate Bus Terminus with an easy access to all important business districts of Chandigarh, Mohali IT hub and Mohali Stadium.
Mr. R K Sharma, Managing Director, Ishan Group said “The hotel will have a total of 239 rooms and suites. The Hotel will become operational in two phases. The first phase will be completed by March 2012 and will host a total of 149 rooms and suites. This is part of a mixed development project which will have a total area development of 6.56 Laks sq feet.”
“We are also providing our technical advisory services to the hotel. The new property will have a built-up area of 3.04 Lakhs sq feet and will be equipped with all possible modern facilities of a five star deluxe hotel project including a rooftop helipad” further added Mr Sinha.
According to Mr Sharma “all rooms at the hotel will be equipped with hi-end state of art modern facilities and services, keeping in mind the comfort of a business and leisure travelers. All guest rooms at the hotel come equipped with facilities like tea/coffee maker, electronic safe and mini-bar, Internet connectivity and the hotel will be Wi-Fi enabled”.
