Best Western International (BWI) has announced plans to open the first two Best Western Premier hotels in the Middle East in May.
The hotel giant is currently rebranding the 282-room Dhow Palace Hotel in Bur Dubai, which will reopen as the Best Western Premier Dhow Palace on 1 May. The hotel will offer four restaurants, health club, rooftop swimming pool, and meeting facilities.
In addition, Best Western will also lend its brand to the newly-built Best Western Premier Creek, Bur Dubai (pictured). The property, which is also scheduled to be open in May, will comprise 210 rooms and suites.
“We are very thrilled to make our entry to the Middle East market with two such fine examples of Best Western Premier. They bring something new to the Middle East in terms of the total package of location, product and service quality coupled with outstanding value-for-money.” said Glenn de Souza, BWI’s Vice President International Operations Asia.
With a target to become Asia’s largest hotel chain, Best Western aims to have 50,000 rooms in 22 countries across Asia and the Middle East by 2011.
