Best Western revamps website
Best Western has unveiled a new look and feel for its website.
The bestwestern.com site has been given a more contemporary new look, offering extra information about the company’s hotels, a larger collection of images and more detailed room descriptions.
In addition, users are now able to search for hotels by their proximity to the nearest airport, major local attraction or a specific address, and the number of hotel icons has been reduced to three, highlighting which hotels are award-winning, eco-friendly and non-smoking. The online booking process has also been streamlined, removing a full step from the previous reservation process, and users are able to read TripAdvisor reviews and ratings for each hotel prior to booking.
“We are delighted to be able to unveil our new-look bestwestern.com website,” said Glenn de Souza, Best Western’s Vice President International Operations for Asia & the Middle East. “In the world today, it is essential that we offer a fast, efficient and convenient online platform through which to interact with our guests. This new website, with its enhanced information and intuitive functionality, will ensure we are able to maximise our guest satisfaction and direct bookings.”
The move forms the latest phase in Best Western’s strategy to boost online bookings, following the addition of a Facebook booking engine earlier this year.
