Best Western has unveiled plans for a Glo hotel in Thailand, marking the new brand’s debut in the Asia Pacific region.
Introduced in 2015, Glo combines bright exterior façades with contemporary interiors and high-tech amenities. And the brand will make its Asian debut in Na Jomtien, close to the popular Thai beach resort of Pattaya.
The new Glo Na Jomtien is being developed by Thailand’s Habitat Group, with construction work due to commence in September 2017. The new-build hotel is expected to welcome its first guests in 2019.
This marks the second partnership between Best Western and Habitat Group; earlier this year the two companies announced plans for the Best Western Premier Bayphere Pattaya.

“We are delighted to be partnering the Habitat Group once again for another exciting project,” said Olivier Berrivin, Best Western’s managing director of international operations for Asia. “And the fact that this marks our first Glo hotel in Asia makes this occasion all the more momentous.
“Along with its sister brand Vib, Glo represents a new era for Best Western Hotels & Resorts in Asia. Modern, stylish and packed with state-of-the-art technology, Glo hotels will become a favourite among the millenial market. And with their bright, LED-lit facades, they are sure to become well-known fixtures within their destinations.”
The newest brand from Best Western, Glo is a midscale concept designed specifically for new-build hotels. All properties will feature multi-use lobby areas where guests can work, dine and socialise, free high-speed Wi-Fi, multiple power outlets and modern fitness centres.
