Boeing makes landmark delivery to GECAS

Boeing recently delivered its 400th aircraft to GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the aircraft leasing company. The Next-Generation 737-800 will be delivered to China’s Xiamen Airlines.
“We are proud to take delivery of our 400th Boeing airplane,” said Norman CT Liu, President & CEO of GECAS. “Boeing is a key business partner providing us with advanced, efficient and reliable airplanes that our airline customers need to be successful in today’s competitive and environmentally sensitive marketplace.”
To date, GECAS has ordered 485 aircraft from Boeing, having placed its first order in 1995. Its Boeing fleet now comprises 737s, 74s7, 757s, 767s and 777s.
