Boeing is working to trim weight from its 787 Dreamliner and will implement some design changes on the seventh plane, Bloomberg reported the US planemaker’s Vice President of Marketing, Randy Tinseth, as saying. According to Tinseth, the Dreamliner weighs more than Boeing’s 108-ton target. Tinseth told Bloomberg that the manufacturer is planning on “improvements to engine and aerodynamics” to remove weight from the plane.
