Boeing to take Dreamliner on world tour

Following its recent commercial debut, Boeing’s new 787 Dreamliner will soon take part in a six-month world tour, starting with trips to China, Africa and the Middle East. The ‘Dream Tour’ will start on 4 December when the new aircraft will visit China, with stops in Beijing, Guangzhou and Haikou to customers including Air China, Hainan Airlines and China Southern. Then from 11 December, the Dreamliner will fly to Africa with stops in Addis Ababa and Nairobi to visit Ethiopian Airlines and Kenya Airways. It will then move on to Doha to visit Qatar Airways.
Additional tour stops are being planned for January to April 2012, further destinations to be announced later.
