Bombardier wins China rail contract

The Chinese arm of Canada-based Bombardier Inc, the maker of trains and CSeries jets, has won a contract valued at CNY27.4 billion (US$4.0 billion) to build 80 high-speed trains for the country. According to a Bloomberg report, the contract represents about 20% of Bombardier’s transportation unit’s annual revenue.
