Booking.com Unveils New Travel Agent Platform
“We’ve seen increasing numbers of travel agents using Booking.com to manage bookings for their customers,” said Bryan Batista, senior director of global partnerships at Booking.com. “We’re pleased to now offer professional travel agents a platform and a program that has been created just for them, with the special features they need to easily book and manage reservations for their clients.
“We’re excited to continue innovating the platform, and are committed to adding even more useful features and functionality for them over the coming months,” he added.
The new trade platform will enable agents to access Booking.com’s entire inventory of more than one million accommodation options in nearly 96,000 destinations in 227 countries and territories worldwide. The site is available in 43 languages.
Agents are also able to view and manage their clients’ reservations from a single dashboard, and will be offered a series of customizable reports to monitor individual client bookings, as well as providing them with a breakdown of their earnings.
Booking.com for Travel Agents is an extension of the company’s existing Affiliate Partner Program and leverages technology and infrastructure developed for Booking.com for Business. Agents who join the platform will be eligible for similar benefits as Booking.com’s affiliate partners.
