The property, built in 1888 and located in South Kensington, unveiled its patisserie lounge The Drawing Rooms earlier this week to the press and hosted some suppliers for trial nights during the bank holiday weekend.
Currently 56 rooms in the hotel have opened, with its total 111 planned to be ready by the end of the year.
Marites Araneta, sales and marketing director at the hotel said its rooms show “parts of South Kensington” by taking themes from the museums nearby. Its rooms themes include botany, music, geometry, ornithology and astronomy.
Other facilities in the hotel include the underground Apero restaurant (which has reduced opening rates until Tuesday), a library, meeting rooms and a games room complete with table tennis.
