Yemen is closing its airport in Aden along with land, sea and air crossing in Aden, according to reports.
Security authorities took the measures following an escalation in violence and continued fighting in Sana’a.
Speaking on local television, the manager of Aden airport said the airport had been closed from early morning and would remain shut until further notice.
The security committee of the city made the announcement of the closures on television citing aggression against President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
The called the Houthi militia attacks on state institutions in Sanaa an “aggressive coup on the president personally and on the political process as a whole”.
