Buddha Air will begin operating its scheduled flights between Kathmandu and Varanasi from 1 March 2012. The route will be operated with four weekly flights, on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The airline said that the route has a lot of prospects as business people, students and pilgrims from Varanasi and its neighbouring areas and Nepal would travel. The carrier has been operating its flights between Kathmandu and Lucknow since January, 2011. It also has been flying to Paro, Bhutan, from Kathmandu since August last year. The airline has gone international after 13 years of its domestic service.
