A Japanese rail company has opened a new museum and theme park in Nagoya offering guests the chance ‘drive’ one of the country’s famed bullet trains. The SCMaglev & Railway Park opened its doors on Monday, featuring a simulator allowing guests to take the controls of the train, with a large video screen shows offering a driver’s-eye view as the train speeds through the Japanese countryside. The park will also include 39 pieces of rolling stock from steam engines to the latest maglev high-speed trains, as well as a museum, theatre, learning room, and a huge model railway.
