The inaugural MEBAA Show in Morocco is gaining momentum. The show is scheduled to be held at Casablanca’s Mohammed V International Airport from 1-2 September 2015 and is held under the patronage of HE Abdelaziz Rabbah, Moroccan minister of equipment and transport.
The country has been identified as the most active business aviation market, accounting for 50% of all North African aircraft movements, in a study by WINGX commissioned by the Middle East and North African Business Aviation Association (MEBAA).
Ali Al Naqbi, founding chairman of MEBAA said: “Current trends predict business aircraft movements in the region could reach 22,750 by the end of this year. We would like to target the growing potential in Morocco.”
The event will also help to introduce and reinforce business aviation to local officials and prospective owners and operators, and help address transport issues faced by the region.
