Cachet Hotel Group (CHG) has unveiled the latest addition to its portfolio in China – a 45-room boutique hotel in Shanghai.
The new Cachet Boutique Shanghai was formerly known as the JIA Shanghai, and is set in an historic city centre building that dates back to the 1920s.
Following a major refurbishment, the hotel now features a new lobby, called the ‘Art Salon’, which includes an interactive rotating art gallery. Other new amenities include a fitness centre with Technogym equipment and a new meeting room, while a new restaurant will be unveiled on the hotel’s second floor in March 2015.
All rooms, including corner and balcony suites, come fitted with kitchenettes, 42-inch LCD TVs, home entertainment systems, iPods and free Wi-Fi.
The third-floor lounge will host the daily breakfast, which is free to all guests, along with all-day refreshments, afternoon tea and an evening cocktail hour.
Hong Kong-based CHG currently operates the eco-friendly URBN Hotel in Shanghai and has also announced plans to launch its Cachet and URBN brands in Chengdu and Kunming respectively.
