Unions have called for a Europe-wide air traffic control strike over planned European Commission (EC) regulations later this month.
Germany’s air traffic controllers have already shown their support with plans for a one-hour strike on 29 January.
They are getting behind a renewed call from the Air Traffic Controllers European Unions Coordination (ATCEUC) to take action against planned safety and savings targets set by the commission.
ATCEUC represents 14,000 workers in 28 countries.
