A passenger plane has crashed in Canada’s arctic north, killing 12 people and injuring three others. CBC News reported that the Boeing 737 came down on Saturday approximately 8km from Resolute Bay airport, in the far northern Nunavut region, on a flight from Yellowknife. The charter plane was operated by First Air, which specialises in flights to Canada’s northern regions. The cause of the crash is not immediately clear.
