Canadian airlines gain greater access to Japan

Japan hasagreed to allow Canadian airlines to land at more Japanese airports as part ofa new air services pact, Japan Today reported.
“The expanded arrangements willallow Canadian airlines and airports opportunities to offer competitive airlineprices to travellers, helping to create jobs and boost our economy,” Canadian TradeMinister, Stockwell Day, was reported saying in a statement.
The pact allows airlines to nowoffer unlimited flights between Canadaand any city in Japanoutside of the Tokyoarea.
