Carlson Rezidor recently re-entered Libya by announcing the Radisson Blu Hotel.
The hotel will offer 150-rooms and is scheduled to open in early 2016. This will also be the first internationally branded hotel in Misrata. It is also conversion of an existing hotel and is currently undergoing full renovation to meet Radisson Blu’s.
“Libya remains an attractive emerging market for us, and we carefully monitor its development. Although the overall situation is still at risk, we are confident that Libya will continue to recover from unrest and offer opportunities for international investments across all sectors,” said Wolfgang M Neumann, president and CEO of Rezidor.
The hotel in Misrata will offer 126 guest rooms and 24 studios with kitchenettes along with an all-day-dining restaurant, speciality restaurant and outside pool restaurant, lobby lounge, four meeting rooms and a ballroom, gym and spa.
The Radisson Blu Hotel, Misrata will be operated by The Rezidor Hotel Group.
