Carlson Rezidor recently announced its new property in Egypt – the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cairo Nasr City. The property will offer 300 rooms and is scheduled to open in Q1 2016.
This is the Group’s second property in Cairo.
“Egypt has recovered from the turmoil of past years and opens new business opportunities. We want to support this emerging country and its travel and tourism sector together with our partners in the region,” said Wolfgang M Neumann, president and CEO of Rezidor.
Across Egypt, the group now operates and develops seven hotels with more than 2,800 rooms, and aims to further expand its network.
The other facilities planned for the property include an all-day-dining restaurant, lounge bar, fitness area, spa, roof top swimming pool with sky bar and a meetings and events area including a ballroom.
