Cathay cuts fuel surcharges

Cathay Pacific Airways has announced a reduction in its fuel surcharges.
The new fees of HK$61 (US$7.80) for short-haul services in North and Southeast Asia and HK$280 (US$35.90) for long-haul services will apply from 1 February for a two-month period to 31 March.
The adjustments represent reductions of about 44% from the current surcharges.
