Cathay Pacific Airways has slashed growth plans for next year and offered staff unpaid leave, Bloomberg has reported. The carrier has revised its passenger capacity growth predictions for 2009 down from 7 to 1%, according to an emailed statement by the airline. Cabin crew will be offered up to a year of unpaid leave, it added.
