A Cathay Pacific flight carrying 363 passengers suffered damage to its fuselage while flying at 20,000 feet, news.com.au has reported. The Boeing 747 was en route from New York to Kong Hong, via Vancouver, when the incident happened. The plane landed safely at Vancouver Airport. Cathay have admitted that the aircraft’s fuselage had been damaged, but could not confirm whether a panel had separated from the plane.
The incident follows a similar situation last Friday when a Qantas Boeing 747 was forced to make an emergency landing after suffering fuselage damage. No-one was hurt in either incident.
