Cebu Pacific Air (CEB) has unveiled plans to expand further in the Middle East, with the launch of services to Saudi Arabia.
On 4 October 2014, the Philippine low-cost carrier will commence services to Dammam, the port city on the Arabian Gulf.
Flights will operate three times a week, departing Manila every Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 2155 and arriving in Dammam at 0240 the next day. The return flight departs the Saudi city every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday at 0410, getting back into Manila at 1835.
The route will be operated using CEB’s 436-seat, all-economy Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
“CEB is proud to offer all our kababayans (overseas Filipino workers) in Saudi Arabia… year-round low fares that are up to 40% lower than what’s being offered by other airlines,” said Alex Reyes, general manager of CEB’s long-haul division.
“CEB also offers the most convenient connections to the most number of destinations in the Philippines. With CEB’s low fares, they can enjoy being with their families and loved ones more often.”
CEB entered the Middle East for the first time last year with the start of daily flights to Dubai. And its expansion continued earlier this month with the launch of thrice weekly flights to Kuwait.
