Cebu Pacific will launch direct flights from Manila to Osaka starting 20 November, the Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation has reported. The thrice-weekly services will use the carrier’s 179-seater Airbus A320 aircraft. Osaka becomes the Philippine carrier’s first Japanese destination.
CEB President and CEO, Lance Y. Gokongwei, said; “Japan has a very active and vibrant travel market. This service will be strategically important to the country’s tourism agenda and should also help us attain our goal of flying seven million passengers this year.”
