Centara is about to relaunch a family resort in Phuket in time for the high season.
The company took control of the Blue Marine Resort & Spa Phuket in January 2014, and set about revamping it in line with the standards of its upscale brand. It will officially reopen as Centara Blue Marine Resort & Spa Phuket on 1 December 2014.
“We are extremely proud to add Centara Blue Marine Resort & Spa Phuket to our portfolio… and we are confident that with the overall remodelling of the resort adds further impetus and confidence to our investors and guests alike that our strategy to place Phuket high on our list of must visit destinations is reaping mutual rewards,” said Centara’s CEO, Thirayuth Chirathivat.
The renovated resort now offers 266 rooms, suites and villas, with the latter including their own private pools.
Facilities include three swimming pools, a water slide, two children’s pools, a spa, fitness centre, kids’ club, two restaurants, a bar and lounge. The resort also features a meeting room able to hold up to 180 people.
Centara Hotels & Resorts now operates 46 properties in Thailand, including eight in Phuket.
