A report published by CFO (Chief Financial Officer) Europe Research Services, in collaboration with Amadeus, has found that less than 40% of CFOs are satisfied with the levels of savings delivered by corporate travel programmes in their company.
The study, ‘Cost Control and Beyond’, questioned CFOs in Europe, the US and Asia Pacific across a variety of industry sectors and found that while CFOs view travel through a cost-control lens, travel cost management has so far made a minimal contribution to companies’ overall cost controls.
