The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) has held a ceremony officially welcoming Best Air to Changi airport. The Bangladeshi carrier commenced operations on 20 October, operating four weekly flights between Singapore and Dhaka.
CAAS’ Director-General and Chief Executive Officer, Lim Kim Choon, said; “Best Air comes at an opportune time where we see a steady growth of passenger movements between Bangladesh and Singapore. In the first eight months of 2008, we have seen a growth of 4% compared with the same period in 2007.”
